But the West Coast is where he calls home. Jay grew up in Northern California in Los Gatos and attended Cal State University at Chico. He spent many years in technology in California.
Eighteen years ago he came to Destin as Cornerstone Development’s CIO, and four years later partnered in starting up his own technology company, Apex Technology Group. Ten years ago Jay sold Apex to Panama City based Pro-Comm. Since then he has concentrated on growing his real estate business, and his expertise in technology has provided a great springboard.
Jay's transition into real estate was natural. Growing up the son of a real estate broker and real estate attorney, some aspect of real estate was constantly a topic at home. Now, he looks forward to putting together real estate opportunities for our clients. If you ever have any real estate questions, he'll make it his job to give you the answers. His extensive business and sales background gives him the know-how to negotiate smart and strong.
Each year Jay is awarded the 100% Club with RE/MAX. In 2014 he received the prestigious Hall of Fame Award, and in 2015 had even more success which earned him the Platinum Club Award.

Debbie grew up here in the Destin area, so her passion runs deep for the communities that dot our coastline.
Graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in English, and receiving her MA from the University of West Florida, also in English, she then spent seventeen years as a high school and college English teacher. From there she began her real estate career in 2001 and received her broker’s license in 2006. Here at RE/MAX Beaches she still wears the mantle of an educator by advising clients on buying and selling real estate. She loves her job!
Her accolades include: April 2006 Realtor of the Month for Broker/Agent Magazine, 2008 WCR’s Business Woman of the Year, and 2009 RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame.
Education remains a vital part of her real estate career. Her designations include: Certified Distressed Property Expert, e-Pro Certified, Resort & Recreational Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, and Certified Residential Specialist.
